PM+M – the Blackburn and Bury-based chartered accountancy, business advisory and financial planning group – has grown its leadership team with the appointment of Charlotte Radcliffe as a director in its accounting + advisory team.
Charlotte, who will be primarily based at the firm’s Bury office, brings over 20 years’ experience in the profession. She joins PM+M from Saffery LLP and previously spent seven years at KJG LLP – now part of Xeinadin. She specialises in advising SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger organisations, combining strong technical expertise in UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice and International Financial Reporting Standards with a commercially focused approach.
In her new role, Charlotte will provide strategic, high-quality advice to clients, supporting them through complex accounting and business challenges. She will also focus on expanding the use of cloud accounting solutions, helping clients improve efficiency and access real-time financial information.
During her career, Charlotte has worked with a diverse client base, including large corporate entities and not-for-profit organisations. This broad experience has given her extensive insights into the challenges different organisations face. Alongside her client work, she will also be supporting the continued development of the Bury team, mentoring colleagues and helping to build capability as the team grows.
Charlotte will be working closely with Judith Dugdale, partner, alongside the wider accounting + advisory team.
Commenting on her appointment, Charlotte said: “A key factor in my decision to join PM+M was its independence and clear commitment to maintaining that position. Being independent allows the team to provide genuinely objective, client-focused advice, which strongly aligns with my own professional values.
Charlotte added: “I was also drawn to the firm’s collaborative culture and its strong reputation for delivering high-quality work. It’s clear that PM+M places a real emphasis on building long-term relationships with clients and supporting its people, which made it a very attractive place to take the next step in my career.”
Judith Dugdale said: “We are delighted to welcome Charlotte to the team. She is a highly respected professional who has built an outstanding reputation throughout her career. As part of the senior leadership team in Bury, Charlotte will also help strengthen our links in the town and the wider Greater Manchester business community. I look forward to seeing the positive impact she will have on our clients, her colleagues and our continued growth across the region.”
