PM+M the Blackburn and Bury based chartered accountancy, business advisory and financial planning group joins the growing movement of companies using business as a force for good after achieving Certified B Corporation status.
Verified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, the achievement demonstrates that PM+M meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
B Corp certification is awarded by B Lab and assesses the entirety of a business’ operations and covers impact areas related to practices around governance, workers, community, the environment and customers. The certification process is rigorous, with companies required to provide evidence on performance while legally embedding their commitment to purpose as well as profit in their company.
PM+M is only the second North West headquartered accounting firm to achieve B Corp Certification, and one of just 25 accountancy firms across the UK to do so – a rare achievement that underlines the firm’s commitment to driving positive impact within its profession and community.
Founded in 1919, PM+M delivers a range of services across audit and accounting, corporate finance, cloud accounting, payroll, business and private client tax, financial planning and mortgages.
