PM+M is pleased to have acted on behalf of Advanced Child Care Assessments Limited (ACCA) which has been acquired by Chorley-headquartered portfolio management specialist Handl Group.
ACCA, which was established in 2005 and is based in Burnley, is a provider of independent social work investigation and assessments within court proceedings. Following the deal, ACCA will remain an autonomous company within the Handl Group.
PM+M’s deal team (which was led by partner Jim Akrill), was engaged by Mark Webb, founder of ACCA, to market the company and find a buyer. We also provided lead advice on the negotiations around price and key terms as well as on financial and tax terms in the sale and purchase agreement.
Hill Dickinson advised ACCA on all legal matters.
