We are delighted to be supporting Blackburn Youth Zone, as proud patrons, in their latest fundraising campaign ‘Paint the Town Orange’. The goal of the corporate challenge is to raise vital funds and awareness for the Youth Zone, with a focus on supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
The funds raised are going to be used to appoint a new targeted support worker to help young people overcome life’s challenges – someone who will be needed more than ever in a post-Covid world. According to data from the NHS, in 2017, 1 in 9 children aged 5 to 16 were identified as having a probable mental disorder. This has risen to 1 in 6 during the pandemic.
To continue with our ongoing fundraising efforts, we are holding a silent auction, giving Rovers’ supporters the opportunity to win a signed match ball from the Blackburn Rovers vs Hull City game, which we recently sponsored.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support an amazing local charity and a worthwhile cause.
