As we head towards the end of PM+M’s centenary year, we’re reflecting on the key highlights of 2019…
Alongside celebrating our 100th anniversary, 2019 saw us achieve our highest growth ever and for this, I would like to take the opportunity to thank our incredible clients, contacts and friends for their continued support. Without you, we really wouldn’t be here.
A huge thank you is also in order for our team. Their commitment to our clients over the years has been undeniable and they have truly played a vital role in helping us grow into the award-winning firm that we are today.
One of this year’s greatest achievements included undergoing a major office transformation which saw us purchase our Blackburn office, create an even better working environment for our team and rename our headquarters ‘New Century House’ in honour of PM+M’s 100th year. Perfectly timed with our centenary was the launch of PM+M’s brand new website – signifying our commitment to strengthening the PM+M brand and upholding our reputation in the North West.
This year also saw PM+M named as a top 100 UK firm by AccountancyAge for the second year running, an accreditation we’re incredibly proud to maintain. This, combined with various award wins (most notable being a national excellence award for our amazing payroll team), promotions and new appointments across the firm, shows that we are well on our way to achieving our vision of being the best North West firm of finance professionals and helping our clients achieve more in every way.
Throughout 2019, we maintained our commitment to our local communities through various fundraising initiatives. Most recently we held our annual Christmas present appeal, which generated an outstanding response and saw more than 400 gifts being delivered across Blackburn, Burnley and Bury. Once again, we would like to give thanks to every single person who donated a gift – your support didn’t go unnoticed and with your kindness and generosity, we were able to collectively transform Christmas for so many children.
With a new decade on the horizon (and the next century for PM+M!), we’re excited for what the future may bring and look forward to continuing to work with you all in the years to come.
