Lex and PM+M have been partnered for a number of years through partner Nigel Wright, having a strong working relationship with the owners of the business. In recent years, it became apparent that the existing finance software and processes had not kept pace with advancements in technology, and led to issues such as reduced efficiency, security vulnerabilities and limited functionality.

As part of the review of current systems, the business chose to implement Prima, a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that Lex decided was a good fit for their needs. Despite this, it did not integrate well with their current financial systems, and so PM+M’s Cloud Accounting team were tasked to design a system that would both integrate with Prima and improve on their other functions and processes.

Rosie and Katie from the Cloud team undertook the project and designed a whole new system with Xero at its heart. Utilising the cloud-based accountancy software resolved many of the business’ existing issues, and opened up further possibilities for efficiency and development as the business continues to grow. After a successful integration with Prima, Lex now has an expertly designed and implemented cloud based accountancy function –giving them the ability to make decisions quicker, improve financial performance and have a clear financial snapshot of their business at any time.
