Receipt Bank, a cloud-based accounting app which develops document management software, has changed its name to ‘Dext’, to reflect the extension in their product portfolio which now goes beyond receipt management.
What is Receipt Bank/Dext?
Dext Prepare (formerly Receipt Bank) is the business expense tracker that tracks, read and stores receipts and invoices on the go, enabling our clients to focus less on finance and more on what really matters – growing your business.
Dext Prepare can transform the way you do business as it makes your accounting admin easy and quick, and is suitable for SME’s, sole traders and the self-employed.
How does Dext work?
Dext’s award-winning technology allows the user to capture, store and keep track of business receipts, bills, invoices and bank statements. Dext uses machine learning to tailor bookkeeping to your business needs and connects with leading cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks to enable automated publishing and transaction matching for quick reconciling.
What’s changed?
Currently, very little has changed for our clients who use Receipt Bank, aside from the name change. However, it appears that Dext has future growth plans as they look to be known as more than ‘just’ a data capture app, which is great news for all Dext users.
