    Our updated coronavirus statement

Since the Government advised UK employees to work from home if possible on 17 March, PM+M implemented its work from home policy, meaning that over the last week or so, the majority of our team have been conducting business as usual from their homes, leaving a safe environment for a handful of team members to carry out essential tasks in the office. Feedback from our clients about these new arrangements has been very positive.

Due to our contingency plans and excellent technology solutions, it has been very much ‘business as usual’ since and I would like to say a huge thank you to our whole team for their efforts in making this transition run so smoothly.

    Where are we now?

Following the Prime Minister’s strict announcements on Monday evening to quickly limit the spread of coronavirus, we have decided to reduce our office presence even further, as protecting the health and wellbeing of our people and their families is essential.

From today (25 March), our Blackburn office will have reduced hours so that an even smaller number of team members can deal purely with essential post and banking. We plan to have a couple of people in the office each day, aiming to complete this work between the hours of 8am-12pm.

Pleased be assured that our direct dials and main switchboard numbers are being diverted, so you are welcome to call us if you need support and your query will be directed to the best person to help you. It would help us greatly if you could use direct dial numbers or mobile numbers if you have them, so that the volume of calls via our main switchboard can be effectively managed. We can also confirm that clients are able to drop off books and records at the Blackburn office, however only with prior appointment – we are committed to limiting social interaction and will facilitate this where necessary. Please contact Lisa Oakes at lisa.oakes@pmm.co.uk to arrange this.

Our Bury and Burnley offices are now closed.

Finally, please rest assured that we do not envisage any major disruption to the service provided to our clients.

Amidst all this uncertainty, one thing remains unchanged – PM+M’s total commitment to serving our clients and helping you achieve more.

Thank you for your support during this challenging time – wishing you all the best.

    Jane Parry
