We are Accountants – indeed we are Chartered Accountants – and we do Accountancy.  But unlike other accountants, we do not see this as an end in itself.  Accountancy (the process of adding up the numbers and producing a set of accounts) is not the sum total of our ambitions when it comes to helping clients.  Accountancy is the tool which allows us to add value to our clients businesses.

By understanding accounting systems in detail and marrying them to your needs as clients, we are able to produce accounts that add value to your business.  Accounts can be for any number of purposes:

Statutory – required by law for companies and Limited Liability Partnerships;
Fund raising – to support applications to the bank and other finance providers;
Management - to assist in real time decision making;
Tax – to support entries on returns;
Trusts and settlements – to allocate income and capital between various beneficiaries.
