PM+M announces Spring/Summer Seminar Programme

Following on from the success of our extensive Autumn/Winter seminar programme, we are please to announce our Spring/Summer 2012 programme. Our free seminars and networking events cater for a large variety of businesses, specialist sectors and individuals in the local area.

We look forward to welcoming our clients to these events but you don’t have to be a PM+M client to attend. All of our seminars are completely free to everyone, so do feel free to spread the word and invite family, friends and colleagues who you think might be interested to register! Details of all upcoming seminars, together with an online booking form, are available in the events section of this site.

Our series of evening wealth management seminars in particular, are extremely popular and are often fully-booked. We have recently extended them to the Bolton area too. These seminars cover a range of essential topics, including retirement and pension planning, investments and inheritance and tax planning.

Did you know that 9 out of 10 family businesses won’t make it to the third generation? Our family business team are experts in understanding what makes a family business successful. This summer we launch the first in a series of seminars designed to help local family businesses understand the challenges faced when working with family, and how to overcome them to make sure you are in the 10% that succeed!

Please refer to the events page for dates, times and venues of upcoming wealth management and family business seminars.

Following on from the success of their Sage 50 training workshops earlier this year, our dedicated technologies team have created a detailed workshop to help you get the most out of your accounting software. Whatever package you are currently using, our experts will show you how you can use Microsoft Excel* to meaningfully  analyse data readily available from your software.

This summer also sees the launch of our Help Me…series of seminars. Ranging from starting a business, through to growing and eventually selling your business, these sessions are aimed at business owners and offer informative presentations and practical advice from our team of business and financial experts.

Finally, we are planning a further series of seminars for local employers, which will cover changes to workplace pensions under new Government reforms to be rolled out from October 2012, as well as HMRC’s new Real Time Information (RTI) initiative. So watch this space!
